Software Update: Page Orders & Posting Date

Two new updates to Content Engine have now been rolled out. You'll notice that you can now move "Pages" around in the menus, and you can specify the posting date for news items.

The next update will be the database back-up facility. This will appear as a new link on the Content Engine home page. Just click it and a copy of the database will be sent to a nominated email address. We'll be in touch during the next week or so to ask you to what email address you'd like the updates sent.

Once this has been completed we'll be adding a new core area: "Links". This section will let you create a page of links, with a description, that you think your members and visitors may find useful. Once again, this is an optional update, so if you'd prefer not to have it, just let us know. Of course, if you change your mind later, we'll be only slightly disappointed to remove it for you. Note that this will be an update to the public part of your site with the inclusion of a new option in the main menu.
