Content Engine is Dead. Long live Zinu*!

We've been wondering about the name "Content Engine" for quite a while now. In some circles having the word "engine" in a product name implies that it's dynamic and powerful. In others, it's a bit clumsy and not particularly snappy.

During the next few weeks Content Engine will become Zinu. The word "Zinu" doesn't mean anything. It's made up, but we think it's quite snappy. It'll also let us develop a suite of applications that will be developed in association with our users. We've already got something in the pipeline that we think our users will be excited about.

What's the asterisk for?
That's the wild card. The Zinu applications will all be named something like zinu.content, so the asterisk in the logo shows that there's more to come.
